SLATE SERIES

The SLATE SERIES combines two very simple elements.  These small panels combine reclaimed roof tile fragments with clear glass sandblasted using branches as a resist.   The rich black stone tiles make an interesting contrast with the lightly frosted glass representing bare trees.   Rocks and trees.....the result is an elegant evocation of a quintessential Northern Ontario scene.
